We found this contact print in a filing cabinet bursting with prints from the 60s and 70s of English bands on the road. Ah … those were the days when photographers could take pictures anywhere and everywhere.

Waiting backstage, in their dressing room, here’s Chris Wood with Jim Capaldi and Steve Winwood – the boys from Traffic – waiting to go onstage.  The contact sheet fix solution has decayed a little but gives the print a wonderful earthy brown tone.

This print measuring 16″ x 20″ (41 x 51 cms) is ready-to-frame. It is an Archival Giclée* print on 260gsm Photo Lustre paper, hand numbered and signed by Chris’s sister, Steph Wood.
